Mt. Romelo239 m
Mt. Romelo stands in Siniloan, Laguna, on the southwest edge of the Sierra Madre, and at 239 m it draws hikers for its waterfalls and rainforest more than for its height. Its falls include Buruwisan, roughly 55 m high and used for rappelling, along with Lanzones, Batya-Batya and Sampaloc, seven in all. A wide campsite with stores and cottages sits near the falls, where thefts and fatal falls from the edge have occurred, and the trails turn wet and muddy from June to October.
