Mt. Sembrano743 m

Mt. Sembrano is a volcano at the tip of the Jalajala peninsula in Pililla, Rizal, rising 743 m over Laguna de Bay about 60 km east of Manila by road. The trail reaches North Peak first and then the South Peak summit, which has no shade. From the top the Sierra Madre, Talim Island, Laguna Lake, Banahaw and Makiling are in view. Once an NPA haven, the mountain has been free of a hiking advisory since August 2012, and on the way down the Manggahan mango grove has a campsite and a small falls.
