The trail itself is straightforward. It's a circuit. I went at night solo and it had fewer people... fewer lights as well. Close to none. Some sections you ask yourself if it's the right track since there are absolutely no lights but it's the right one. The view at night was spectacular with the Taipei 101 and the New Taipei City's view. Easy hike I suppose if you're used to hiking. Some people trail run this circuit even at night. Open 24 hours.
