Tested against a shower of 450 L/m²/h for 2 hours (heavy rain or wave splashes) and 8 hours in 10 cm of water (a bag floating in a flooded boat or a brief fall into water). Do not swim with it or immerse it. For electronics or important papers, double the protection with an IPX8 waterproof pouch inside, and check the bag is watertight with absorbent paper before setting off. To close: press the two sides of the opening together, make four folds towards the front until the weld line is hidden, then close the two buckles upwards. Leave some air inside: the bag is more waterproof when inflated and floats if dropped in water. Size: 25 x 18 x 11 cm when full and closed; one compartment; 210 g empty. Material: PVC-coated polyester with polypropylene webbing (68% PVC, 23% PET, 9% PP), plastic buckles. Colours: oxygen blue and snow white. Repairable: a repair patch, shoulder straps and spare buckles are sold separately. Care: hand wash at up to 40°C and dry in open air; no bleach, tumble drying, ironing or dry cleaning. Rinse and dry before long storage, store flat rather than folded, and keep out of direct sunlight when not in use.
