Mt. Ampacao via Ambasing Trail: Day hike itinerary

1. The night before

   1. 20:30Take the overnight bus from Manila to Bontoc, then a jeep to Sagada.

2. Day 1

   1. 02:00Meet your guide (arranged at the Sagada guide office; P600 for 1 to 10 people) and walk down to Ambasing Elementary School.
   2. 02:20Start the trek up the rough road.
   3. 03:00Reach the ranch.
   4. 03:30Reach the summit, marked by the Smart cell site, for the sunrise.
   5. 04:00Start the descent.
   6. 04:30Back at the ranch; take the trail to Lake Danum.
   7. 05:30Arrive at Lake Danum.
   8. 06:00Head back toward town.
   9. 06:30Arrive in Sagada town proper, on foot or by rented vehicle.
