Three days from Banaue: by rented jeep to Barlig, up to the summit by evening, down through Pat-yay to camp at Cambulo village, then on to Batad and the saddle for a jeep back to Banaue. Times are approximate.

    2. 09:00Rented jeep to Barlig
    3. 11:00Macalana, Barlig; lunch
    4. 12:00Start trekking (later if the sun is too strong)
    5. 17:00Barlig Viewpoint, about 2,400 m
    6. 18:00Summit; bunkhouse or camp

  2. Day 2

    1. 08:00Start down to Pat-yay
    2. 12:00Pat-yay village; lunch
    3. 13:00On to Cambulo
    4. 18:00Cambulo village; camp

  3. Day 3

    1. 08:00Head to Batad
    2. 11:30Batad; lunch, optional Tappiyah Falls
    3. 15:00On to the saddle
    4. 16:00Saddle; rented jeep to Banaue or Bontoc
    5. 17:30Back in Banaue
