A dayhike from Guadalupe Church in Cebu City: habal-habal to Sitio Napo, up to Lower Kahugan Spring, Busay Lut-od Falls and the Roble homestead, then the steep ascent to the ridge. The top is about 4.5 hours away, and the descent can use the Kalunasan or Veterans Drive side.

Timetable

  1. Day 1

    1. 05:00Assemble at Guadalupe Church between 5:00 and 7:00 AM; have breakfast and buy provisions.
    2. 08:00Ride a habal-habal (₱10) to Sitio Napo and start the trek, around 8:00 AM.
    3. 09:00Reach Lower Kahugan Spring; rest and refill water.
    4. 09:30Side trip to Busay Lut-od Falls, reaching it between 9:30 and 10:00 AM.
    5. 10:30Back at Lower Kahugan Spring, then up to the Roble homestead between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM; lunch.
    6. 13:00Leave the homestead for Mt. Babag via East Ridge Pass, between 1:00 and 1:30 PM.
    7. 14:30Reach Babag Ridge and the tower ledge after a steep climb; rest and take photos.
    8. 15:00Leave the ridge for Kalunasan (via the No-Santol Tree Trail) or for Veterans Drive, between 3:00 and 3:15 PM.
    9. 16:15Reach Kalunasan or Veterans Drive between 4:15 and 4:30 PM; hire a habal-habal (₱40 from Mountain View Resort to JY Square).
    10. 17:00Back in Cebu City between 5:00 and 5:30 PM.
