Mt. Guiting-Guiting via Magdiwang Trail: 5D4N itinerary

1. The night before

   1. 08:00Assemble at the bus terminal in Manila.
   2. 08:30Depart for Batangas port.
   3. 12:00Arrive at Batangas port and secure tickets to Magdiwang.
   4. 17:00Take the ferry to Magdiwang Port.

2. Day 1

   1. 08:00Arrive at Magdiwang (Ambulong Port).
   2. 08:15Proceed to the Tourism Council for registration.
   3. 09:00Breakfast at the Magdiwang market.
   4. 10:00Buy trail supplies.
   5. 11:00Head to lodging and prepare for the climb.
   6. 21:00Lights out.

3. Day 2

   1. 06:00Wake-up call and breakfast.
   2. 07:30Begin the trek, bracing for an exposed stretch.
   3. 10:30Reach Camp 1.
   4. 12:00Reach Camp 2 for lunch.
   5. 14:00Reach Camp 3.
   6. 14:30Reach Bulod's Spring to load up on water.
   7. 15:00Arrive at Mayo's Peak (1550 MASL) to rest.
   8. 17:00Sunset viewing at Mayo's Peak.
   9. 19:00Dinner.

4. Day 3

   1. 05:00Breakfast; prepare a packed lunch.
   2. 06:00Begin the summit assault.
   3. 06:30Begin crossing the Knife Edge.
   4. 08:00Reach the rock formation known as Kiss the Wall.
   5. 09:30Reach Mabel Spring, where water is not always available.
   6. 10:15Reach the Peak of Deception (1959 MASL).
   7. 11:00Reach the G2 summit (2057 MASL).
   8. 12:00Head back.
   9. 16:00Back at Mayo's Peak.
   10. 18:00Dinner and socializing.

5. Day 4

   1. 07:00Breakfast.
   2. 08:00Break camp.
   3. 09:00Begin the descent.
   4. 14:00Back at the jump-off; head back to Batangas port.
