Mt. Makiling via Palanggana Trail: Day hike or 2D1N itinerary

1. Day 1

   1. 04:30Assemble at LRT-Buendia and board a bus bound for Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
   2. 06:00Arrive at Sto. Tomas market and hire a jeep to the jump-off.
   3. 06:30Arrive at the Brgy. San Miguel jump-off, register, then head to the water source.
   4. 07:00Begin the trek.
   5. 10:00Reach Palanggana peak for a snack break.
   6. 11:30Arrive at the Melkas Ridge campsite and begin crossing the ridge.
   7. 12:00Reach Peak 3 and follow the Wild Boar Trail toward Peak 2.
   8. 14:00Reach Peak 2, the summit of Mt. Makiling, for a late lunch.
   9. 14:30Begin the descent via the UPLB trail.
   10. 18:00Arrive at the UP College of Forestry and walk to the road to wait for a ride to Los Baños.
   11. 18:30Have dinner in Los Baños.
   12. 19:30Head back toward Manila from Los Baños Crossing.
