From Davao City: an afternoon bus to Sto. Tomas and a skylab ride to the Lantawan ni Bakoko camp at Sitio Talos the night before, then a two-hour dawn climb over Peak 1 to the summit and a habal-habal back to the highway by noon. Times are approximate.

    3. 19:20Sto. Tomas; dinner and supplies
    4. 20:20Skylab to Sitio Talos
    5. 21:00Lantawan ni Bakoko camp, Sitio Talos
    6. 22:00Lights out

  2. Day 1

    1. 03:30Wake up
    2. 04:30Meet the guide; orientation
    3. 05:10Start trekking, at about 208 m
    4. 05:50Rest area
    5. 06:45Peak 1, about 300 m
    6. 07:10Summit, about 450 m
    7. 08:40Start the descent
    8. 10:00Back at the camp; rest and tidy up
    9. 12:00Habal-habal back to the Sto. Tomas highway
