A dayhike from Iloilo City: jeep to Igbaras, register at the municipal hall, habal-habal to Brgy. Bagay, then about three hours to the summit with two water refills on the way. Hikers explore the Pinnacle Rock, come down past Limbaong Falls and need to catch the last jeep back to Iloilo City, which leaves around 5 PM.

Timetable

  1. Day 1

    1. 06:00Take a jeep from the Mohon terminal in Iloilo City to Igbaras (₱50).
    2. 07:30Arrive in Igbaras; register at the municipal hall, have breakfast and buy a packed lunch.
    3. 08:30Charter a habal-habal to Brgy. Bagay (₱100).
    4. 09:00Arrive in Bagay; register again and secure a guide (₱700 for five).
    5. 09:30Start the trek.
    6. 10:30Reach the first water source.
    7. 11:15Reach the last water source; refill, as there is no water at the summit.
    8. 12:30Summit of Mt. Napulak; lunch.
    9. 13:00Explore the Pinnacle Rock.
    10. 14:45Start the descent.
    11. 16:15Pass Limbaong Falls.
    12. 16:45Back in Brgy. Bagay; tidy up.
    13. 17:00Take a habal-habal back to Igbaras (₱100).
    14. 17:30Catch a jeep from Igbaras to Iloilo City (₱50); the last jeep leaves around 5:00 to 5:30 PM.
    15. 19:00Back in Iloilo City.
