Timetable

  1. Day 1

    1. 04:30Depart Baguio for the DENR office in Ambangeg to register.
    2. 11:00Continue by jeep to Brgy. Tawangan and onward toward the trailhead.
    3. 16:00Begin the trek from Taaw River toward Sitio Labang.
    4. 18:00Set up camp at Sitio Labang.

  2. Day 2

    1. 06:00Begin the long trek through the mossy forest.
    2. 12:00Reach a water source in the grassland for lunch.
    3. 17:00Reach the summit in time for sunset, then continue to the saddle campsite.

  3. Day 3

    1. 05:00Return to the summit for sunrise.
    2. 09:00Break camp and begin the descent toward Ambangeg.
    3. 12:00Arrive at the Ambangeg DENR station to log out.
