  1. Day 1

    1. 05:00Board a Genesis or Bataan Express bus to Balanga, Bataan.
    2. 08:00Arrive in Balanga; take a mini-bus to Brgy. Alas-asin.
    3. 09:30Arrive in Alas-asin and register at the barangay hall.
    4. 10:00Start the trek.
    5. 13:00Arrive at Papaya River for lunch.
    6. 13:30Resume the trek through the woodlands.
    7. 15:00Arrive at Tarak Ridge and set up camp.
    8. 15:30Explore the nearby mossy-forest summit area.
    9. 17:30Back at the ridge to watch the sunset and prepare dinner.
    10. 20:00Lights out.

  2. Day 2

    1. 06:00Breakfast and break camp.
    2. 07:00Begin the descent.
    3. 07:30Arrive at Papaya River.
    4. 10:00Back at the jump-off point.
    5. 11:00Arrive in Balanga via mini-bus.
