Mt. Kalugong rises in Barangay Tawang, La Trinidad, Benguet. "Kalugong" is a local word for hat, after the rock formations on its peak that look like one, and they look out over the strawberry farms. From the drop-off in Barangay Cruz, the trek up takes less than an hour, partly on a concrete road.
