Mt. Mauyog is a rocky peak in Balamban, Cebu, within the Central Cebu Protected Landscape, and is often climbed together with nearby Mt. Manunggal. A brain-like rock formation crowns it, with hundred-foot drops all around. Hikers come in by way of Barangays Tabunan and Sunog, crossing the Lusaran River, which can swell past fording in heavy rain, then pushing through sharp grass and thorny branches. From the foot of the mountain, the peak takes 30 minutes to an hour, and a guide is required.
