Mt. Redondo

In Loreto

Height
939 m

This Mt. Redondo is the highest point of Dinagat Island, in Loreto, Dinagat Islands (not the Mt. Redondo in Zambales). A 4×4 ride from Loreto's town hall up an old mining road takes less than an hour to about 800 m; from there an unmarked trail of just over 1 km leads through bonsai forest to the summit at around 940 m. Much of the mountain was laid waste by mining, now said to have stopped. Arrange the trip through Loreto's tourism office.
