Lake Ambulalakao

Lake · a side trip

Benguet

Lake Ambulalakao is one of the four lakes at the base of Mt. Tabayoc in Kabayan, Benguet, with Lake Tabeo, Iculus and Detapnaco. It is said to be the cleanest lake in Benguet. Hikers visit it on foot from Lake Tabeo, which is reached from Brgy. Ballay. The area is under the Mt. Pulag National Park, so a park permit and an accredited guide are needed.

No one has reported whether it’s open. Check with the local office before you go.
