Mt. Malindang is the highest point of Misamis Occidental, a complex volcano within the Mount Malindang Range Natural Park, an ASEAN Heritage Park spanning three provinces. Its crater lake is Lake Duminagat. The ascent from Brgy. Gala passes giant almaciga trees on the way to the summit.
