Guides are arranged at Sitio San Pedro, ₱350 a day; the full circuit is charged the two-day rate (₱700) even when done in a day. No registration fee as of February 2013.

River crossing before Sitio San Pedro, knee- to waist-deep by season
Hot and dry, especially in summer

Day hike from City of TarlacThe whole circuit in one long day: by bus to Tarlac City and jeepney to Brgy. Iba, a river crossing to Sitio San Pedro, then Mt. Tangisan, lunch at a stream, Mt. Bungkol Baka and Mt. Kawayan before looping back. Times are approximate.
